CVE-2019-10169Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via UMA policy scripts

Published May 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Code injection in Keycloak before 8.0.0 allows remote authenticated users with UMA permissions to execute code via a crafted policy. The user-managed access policy endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled script as a policy condition and runs it with the privileges of the Keycloak process. The account must hold UMA permission-management rights; successful execution can read, alter, or interrupt resources accessible to the service account.
