Cross-site scripting in Aurelia Framework before 1.4.1 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in a user's browser via crafted HTML. The HTMLSanitizer.sanitize method applies a regular expression that removes only SCRIPT elements, leaving event-handler attributes and split or nested SCRIPT markup executable. Exploitation requires an application to use the development-only default sanitizer on attacker-controlled HTML and a user to render the result in a browser.
