Improper parcel validation in Google Android Media Framework 7.0 through 9 allows local users to gain privileges without interaction. MediaPlayer.TrackInfo.writeToParcel writes the language where its parcel constructor expects a MIME type, shifting later fields during deserialization. Exploitation requires code running as a local malicious application; the mismatch grants additional permissions without user interaction.
