Out-of-bounds write in Android 7.0 through 9 allows remote attackers to gain privileges in an unprivileged app with user interaction. The bbf_Scanner_addOutPos function in external/neven's Scanner.c uses an incorrect bounds check before adding an output position, permitting a write beyond the destination bounds. Exploitation requires user interaction; successful exploitation elevates code running in an otherwise unprivileged application context.
