Local privilege escalation via unchecked WMT ioctl

Out-of-bounds write in the MediaTek WMT kernel driver in Google Android before 2018-06-05 allows local users to gain elevated privileges. WMT_unlocked_ioctl fails to bounds-check ioctl input before the driver performs a write, allowing data to overwrite memory outside the intended buffer. Exploitation requires existing System execution privileges on an affected device and no user interaction, with the consequence limited to further local privilege escalation.
