Local privilege escalation via IPv6 heap overflow

Heap buffer overflow in the Android kernel allows local users to escalate privileges by triggering IPv6 packet construction. The ip6_append_data function in ip6_output.c writes beyond a heap buffer while appending IPv6 packet data. Local access is sufficient; exploitation requires no additional execution privileges or user interaction and yields elevated code execution.
