Out-of-bounds write in Android 7.0 through 8.1 allows remote attackers to gain elevated privileges through a crafted Bluetooth L2CAP PDU. The l2c_lcc_proc_pdu function in l2c_fcr.cc processes a received control PDU without adequate input validation before writing beyond a buffer boundary. Exploitation requires user interaction and Bluetooth access, and successful memory corruption grants elevated privileges without prior execution rights.
