Integer overflow in the Android Media framework allows remote attackers to hang media processing via a crafted MIDI file. SMF_ParseMetaEvent reads an unsigned variable-length event size, casts it to a signed file offset, and adds it without rejecting negative or overflowing results. A user must open or process the file; successful exploitation consumes resources and interrupts the media service without exposing or modifying data.
