CVE-2018-9333

Local code execution via internal-channel buffer overflow

Published Jan 11, 2021 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

A buffer overflow in K7TSMngr.exe in K7Computing K7AntiVirus Premium 15.1.0.53 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. K7Computing states that specially crafted input is handled incorrectly on internal communication channels, but the faulty copy operation and buffer are undisclosed. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and executes code in the affected process; the public advisory does not define that process's privilege context.
