Published Jan 11, 2021 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Incorrect access control in K7AntiVirus Premium 15.1.0.53 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges through K7TSMngr.exe. K7TSMngr.exe accepts a request from a low-integrity process over an internal communication channel and creates an arbitrary process under SYSTEM. A local low-privileged account is required; successful exploitation executes attacker-chosen code with SYSTEM privileges.
