Unauthenticated theme archive disclosure via unguarded endpoint
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Information disclosure in Cherry Framework 3.1.4 allows remote attackers to download theme backup archives via unauthenticated HTTP requests. The directly reachable admin/data_management/download_backup.php script returns a ZIP archive of the entire wp-content/themes directory without checking a WordPress login or capability. The endpoint needs only network reachability, and the disclosed consequence is confined to reading theme files rather than changing them or interrupting service.
