Customer account deactivation via unverified regstatus requests
Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in ZeusCart 4.0 allows remote attackers to deactivate customer accounts through its administrative interface. The regstatus endpoint processes action=deny account-status requests without verifying that an authenticated administrator intentionally submitted them. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit an attacker-controlled page, and the bounded consequence is customer-account deactivation.
