Code execution via oversized lookup input

Stack-based buffer overflow in ArmCode Arm Whois 3.11 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through oversized lookup input. The IP address or domain field processes more than 658 bytes without enforcing the stack buffer limit, allowing crafted content to overwrite the structured exception handler and redirect execution to embedded shellcode. The demonstrated path requires access to the Windows x86 desktop application to paste the payload and initiate a lookup, after which commands run with the application's privileges.
