Application crash via oversized notebook name
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
Denial of service in StokedOnIt Notebook Pro 2.0 allows local users to crash the application through a crafted notebook name. The New Notebook Name field accepts 500 or more characters and processes the value during Create & Save without enforcing a safe length, causing excessive memory allocation and process termination. Exploitation requires local interaction with the Windows application and interrupts the Notebook Pro process; no system-wide outage is reported.
