Database disclosure via unescaped name search
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
SQL injection in Fyffe PHP-Twitter-Clone 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the search.php name parameter. The endpoint inserts the raw name value between LIKE wildcards in a mysqli_query string, allowing quote and comment syntax to alter the SELECT statement. Authentication is not required; the published error-based payload exposes database metadata, while the database account's privileges bound further impact.
