CVE-2018-25358Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Credential disclosure via unrestricted configuration-table lookup

Published May 23, 2026 · Updated May 23, 2026

Credential disclosure in D-Link DIR-601 2.02NA allows remote attackers to read administrator and wireless credentials without authentication. The my_cgi.cgi load_settings handler accepts repeated attacker-controlled table_name values and returns the named back-end configuration tables in XML without limiting them to CAPTCHA data. Network access to the router's HTTP management service is sufficient to recover clear-text administrator passwords, SSIDs, and wireless keys; no login or user interaction is required.
