Unauthenticated database disclosure via unescaped login username
Published May 23, 2026 · Updated May 23, 2026
SQL injection in Harmis Technology Ek Rishta 2.10 allows remote attackers to read database data through the login username field. The login handler inserts the submitted username between quotes in a SELECT from the Joomla users table, so a quote closes the value and an extractvalue expression reaches the database. No account or user interaction is required; a POST request to the sign-in endpoint returns query-derived database information in an error response.
