Local code execution via hostname buffer overflow

Buffer overflow in 10-Strike Network Scanner 3.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted host name. Processing an oversized host name or address in the Trace route or System information functions overwrites SEH control data and redirects execution. The attacker needs local access to enter the payload and invoke either function; successful exploitation runs code in the application's security context.
