Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Buffer overflow in Allok Soft Inc. Allok Video Joiner 4.6.1217 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via the License Name field. The registration handler copies an oversized License Name string into a fixed stack buffer, allowing the payload to overwrite SEH and redirect control to shellcode. The user must run the Windows desktop application and submit the crafted registration data; successful exploitation runs code in that user's context.
