Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in DragonExpert Recent Threads On Index 17.0 allows attackers to run script in index-page visitors' browsers. The plugin renders attacker-controlled thread subject text in its recent-threads index section without neutralizing HTML or script markup. Exploitation requires permission to create a thread and a visitor to load the forum index; executed script inherits the visitor's web session context.
