Application crash via oversized authorization code

Buffer overflow in Fathom 2.4 allows local users to crash the application by entering an oversized Authorization Code and selecting Activate. The activation path copies the 6,000-byte field value without an effective size check, overflowing a destination buffer when the code is processed. Access to the local registration interface and user interaction are required; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash, not system compromise.
