Published Apr 26, 2026 · Updated Apr 26, 2026
Classic buffer overflow in Acute Systems TransMac 12.2 allows local users to crash the application via an oversized license key. The License Key field copies a 4,000-byte pasted string without checking it against the destination buffer capacity. Access to the local registration interface is required, and successful exploitation interrupts only the TransMac process.
