Out-of-bounds write in Angry IP Scanner for Linux 3.5.3 allows local users to crash the application via malformed port-selection input. The Preferences Ports parser processes a 392-byte patterned string pasted into Port selection and writes outside the intended buffer. Exploitation requires local access to the graphical interface and clicking OK; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash.
