Denial of service in Microsoft One Search 1.1.0.0 allows local users to crash the application through an oversized search query. The search bar accepts a pasted string of at least 950 characters and passes it to processing that raises an unhandled exception. Access to the Windows desktop application is required, and exploitation terminates only the app until it is restarted.
