CVE-2018-25240Public exploit

Application crash via oversized search string

Published Apr 4, 2026 · Updated Apr 4, 2026

Denial of service in Watchr 1.1.0.0 allows local users to crash the application by submitting an 8,145-character search string. The search operation processes the oversized string pasted into the search bar and terminates the application; no source-level root cause is public. Exploitation requires local interactive access to the Windows application, and the demonstrated consequence is an application crash rather than a host crash.
