Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized POST parameters
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
SQL injection in HScripts PHP Quiz Maker 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via crafted POST parameters. The quiz-system.php catid handler and add-category.php usern login handler incorporate attacker-controlled values into MySQL queries without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-, time-, and UNION-based injection. A valid user session is required; successful exploitation reads database information, changes query behavior, or bypasses administrative authentication.
