Database disclosure via unneutralized catid parameter
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
SQL injection in PlayJoom 0.10.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data through the genre view's catid parameter. The genre view interprets the attacker-controlled catid value as SQL syntax instead of neutralizing it before the database query. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates disclosure of the database user, database name, and server version.
