Arbitrary file read via content path traversal
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
Path traversal in Surreal ToDo 0.6.1.2 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through index.php's content parameter. index.php uses the content value as a file path without neutralizing parent-directory sequences, causing files outside the application path to be returned. No authentication is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the web-server process.
