Arbitrary directory download via unchecked parent path
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
Path traversal in Musicco 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to download arbitrary server directories through the getAlbum endpoint. The getAlbum handler passes the parent parameter to realpath without verifying that the resolved directory remains under the music library, then packages that directory as a ZIP. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to files readable by the web-server process.
