Authenticated SQL query execution via crafted mailid
Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026
SQL injection in Salzer Technologies Maitra 1.7.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through mailid. The outmail and inmail modules use the attacker-controlled mailid value in database queries without neutralizing SQL syntax and expose the SQLite file from the application directory. Valid application access is required; exploitation permits database reads and limited modification, while direct file download exposes mail-tracking data and stored credentials.
