A one-time memory leak in GNU Barcode 0.99 leaves a 512-byte command-line setup allocation unfreed when the process exits. The commandline function in cmdline.c calls calloc once per invocation, and the operating system reclaims the allocation at termination. A local invocation is required, but command-line limits prevent memory exhaustion or service interruption, and the CNA rejected the CVE.
