Unauthenticated root access via immutable default credentials

Use of default credentials in Microhard Systems IPn4G 1.1.0 build 1098 allows remote attackers to gain root access over network services. The embedded Linux image ships privileged root, admin, testlab, testlab1, and msshc accounts with fixed passwords that normal gateway operations cannot change. No existing account or user interaction is required, and successful login grants privileged control of the appliance.
