Authenticated configuration disclosure via download.sh
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Configuration file disclosure in Microhard Systems IPn4G 1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read passwords and network settings over HTTP. The download.sh CGI uses its path and savefile parameters to return cli.conf from /etc/m_cli, while the web root directly serves an IPn4G.config archive containing system files. Valid HTTP Basic credentials are required; exposed passwords, hashes, and network configuration enable further authentication bypass, privilege escalation, or system access.
