Arbitrary file access via unsanitized editor paths
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Path traversal in Microhard Systems IPn4G 1.1.0 build 1098 allows remote authenticated users to read, modify, or delete arbitrary files. The hidden system-editor.sh file browser passes unsanitized path, savefile, edit, and delfile parameters from GET and POST requests into file operations. Valid HTTP Basic credentials and web-management access are required; successful requests expose, alter, or remove files available to the embedded web service.
