CVE-2018-25125Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated router crash via oversized FTP ABOR argument

Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025

Buffer overflow in the embedded FTP service of Netis DL4322D firmware RTK 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router. The FTP command parser copies a 1,461-byte argument supplied to a valid command such as ABOR without enforcing the destination buffer's size. FTP credentials and network reachability to port 21 are required; the resulting service failure leaves the device unresponsive and interrupts connectivity for attached users.
