Order status manipulation via mismatched payment callback
Published Oct 17, 2024 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Business logic error in CoinGate PrestaShop Plugin 1.2.0 through 1.2.7 allows remote authenticated users to alter order status via callbacks. The postProcess method in modules/coingate/controllers/front/callback.php accepts a paid CoinGate order when its price equals the selected PrestaShop order total, without checking that their identifiers match. Valid callback access and a same-priced CoinGate order are required; a mismatched callback can mark another cart's order as paid.
