Database read and modification via unescaped search terms

SQL injection in the BigTree Events Extension before 2018-03-19 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via search queries. The affected classes/events.php search methods interpolate each unescaped query word into SQL LIKE clauses before passing the assembled statement to sqlquery. Exploitation requires a reachable front-end search flow that supplies attacker-controlled terms; successful injection is limited by the database account privileges.
