Cross-site scripting via unneutralized HTMLString
Published Jan 1, 2023 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Zenoss Dashboard 1.3.0 through 1.3.4 allows remote attackers to alter rendered content via HTMLString. The defaultportlets.js code does not neutralize attacker-controlled HTMLString data before using it to generate dashboard page content. A user must render the affected content for injected script to run in that browser; published assessments disagree on attacker authentication.
