Path traversal in Cloud Foundry Archiver before 0.0.0-20180523222229-09b5706aa936 allows remote attackers to write or overwrite files outside an extraction directory via crafted archives. extractTarArchiveFile and extractZipArchiveFile concatenate archive entry names with the destination using filepath.Join without containment checks, so ../ paths escape the target. Exploitation requires an application to process an attacker-supplied archive; integrity and availability can be affected, while confidentiality impact is not reported.
