CVE-2018-25039Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored script execution via parental-control keyword

Published Jun 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in Thomson Multimedia TCW710 ST5D.10.05 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The /goform/RgUrlBlock.asp handler accepts a BasicParentalNewKeyword POST value and persistently renders it without neutralizing script markup. Access to the gateway's internal management pages and subsequent interaction by another user are required; exploitation alters displayed content and runs attacker-supplied script in that user's browser.
