Stored script execution via unsanitized PppUserName
Published Jun 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Thomson TCW710 ST5D.10.05 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the DHCP page. The /goform/RgDhcp handler stores the PppUserName POST value without neutralizing script-related HTML, causing the value to execute when rendered. Access to the management interface is required, and another user must view the affected page; execution occurs in that user's browser context.
