Heap-based buffer overflow in Google libwebp before 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to read memory or crash applications during image decoding. In DecodeRemaining, the decoder restores incremental-decoding context while a worker thread can still run, letting ShiftBytes read beyond heap bounds. Multithreaded incremental decoding must reach a suspended state; the bounded consequences are memory disclosure or an application crash.
