Uncontrolled resource consumption in Foxit PhantomPDF before 8.3.7 allows remote attackers to crash the application via JavaScript. The JavaScript engine accepts ArrayBuffer(0xfffffffe) and attempts an almost 4 GiB allocation without enforcing a safe allocation limit. Attacker-supplied JavaScript must execute in the vulnerable application; the documented consequence is an application crash, with no reported data access or code execution.
