Authentication bypass in five NETGEAR router models before 1.1.0.48 allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to gain access. NETGEAR has not disclosed the affected firmware component or the operation that fails to enforce authentication. The affected models are JNR1010v2, JWNR2010v5, WNR1000v4, WNR2020, and WNR2050; exploitation requires adjacent-network reachability and permits confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise.
