Unauthenticated command execution
Published Apr 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
OS command injection in NETGEAR WAC505 and WAC510 before 5.0.0.17 allows remote attackers to execute commands over an adjacent network. NETGEAR has not disclosed the affected interface, parameter, command-building routine, or the untrusted input's path into an operating-system command. No credentials or user interaction are required, but the attacker must reach the wireless access point from an adjacent network; successful exploitation compromises confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
