CVE-2018-21104

Authenticated operating-system command execution

Published Apr 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Command injection in NETGEAR R7800 firmware before 1.0.2.60 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. NETGEAR has not disclosed the affected request handler, parameter, or input-neutralization failure that passes attacker-controlled data to a command interpreter. Administrative authentication and adjacent-network access are required, and successful exploitation can read or alter data and interrupt router service.
