Authenticated command execution via undisclosed input
Published Apr 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
OS command injection in NETGEAR R7800 firmware before 1.0.2.60 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands over the local network. NETGEAR has not published the affected handler, input parameter, or unsafe operation that passes attacker-controlled data to the operating-system shell. Access requires an authenticated session and adjacent-network reachability; successful exploitation can alter data and disrupt the router.
