Denial of service in InputMethodManagerService on Samsung mobile devices with Android 7.x allows remote attackers to reboot the device. InputMethodManagerService exposes an unprotected system service whose invocation reaches a path that forces the operating system to restart. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is a reboot rather than data access or modification.
