Code execution via unintended class-loading path
Published Apr 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Code execution in Samsung Call+ on devices running Android 7.x and 8.x allows attackers to execute code through unintended class loading. The Call+ loader resolves classes from an unintended path and executes the loaded bytecode instead of limiting resolution to the intended application path. Public records do not identify the path, the input that selects it, or the access required to place a class there, so the exact exploitation gate remains undisclosed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
