Published Apr 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Information disclosure in Samsung mobile devices with Android 7.x and 8.x allows physically proximate attackers to read learned words. The prediction clipboard remains enabled in the emergency contact picker while the phone is locked, exposing keyboard-learned entries without unlocking the device. Physical access to a locked affected phone is required, and the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of learned words.
